Is it permissible to be named Jalal?

The word "Jalal" (majesty/glory) is attributed to Allah Almighty in a manner befitting His Majesty and Greatness, and to a creature in a way specific to them. Therefore, there is no objection to being named Jalal. Scholars such as Al-Suyuti and Al-Mahalli were given this title. However, it is preferable to choose the names of prophets, companions, and clear names.
