Is it permissible to teach accounting in a vocational secondary school that prepares students for the job market, knowing that they may deal with usurious institutions, even if the teacher explains the prohibition of bank interest? And does this count as encouraging usury? And is this work permissible or forbidden? And is it permissible in Islamic law to teach general economics that mentions usurious institutions?

If you clarify to the students the prohibition and dangers of usury and forbid dealing with it, then there is no blame upon you for teaching the subject. In fact, teaching it might be better for the purpose of clarifying this. The student should utilize their specialization for what is beneficial and avoid what is forbidden. The burden of sin for whoever violates this falls upon them, not upon you, for you have offered advice and clarification, in accordance with His, the Almighty's, saying: "O you who have believed, upon you is [the responsibility for] yourselves. Those who have erred will not harm you when you have been guided" and His saying: "And every soul earns not [sin] except against itself, and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another."
