Is it better for a pregnant woman in her fourth month to complete memorizing the Qur’an to finish before childbirth, or should she stop to review first, fearing forgetfulness and preoccupation with the newborn?

One must strive to review the memorized Quran so that it is not forgotten, for it is more deserving and important than acquiring new memorization. Texts have been narrated that warn against forgetting the Quran or being negligent in its regular review. Abu Musa narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Review the Quran regularly, for by Him in whose hand is Muhammad's soul, it escapes more readily than camels from their hobbles." Anas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The sins of my Ummah were presented to me, and I did not see a sin greater than a surah (definition) from the Quran or an ayah that a man was given, and then he forgot it." Based on this, one must first strive to review what has been memorized, and then allocate any extra time for new memorization. Relying on Allah, having a good opinion of Him, and organizing time will help in completing the memorization of the Quran.
