Will the masturbation that has not been given up affect the practice of sexual intercourse after marriage?

Masturbation is forbidden, and we have explained the way to overcome it in Fatwa no. 33352.

Seek help from Allah, rely on Him, and have a good opinion of Him, and you will be aided in abandoning it. If Allah blesses you with repentance from it, we hope that its effects will vanish. If a tribulation is decreed in this situation, it is of the nature of worldly tribulations that serve as expiation for sins, keeping in mind the rule: "The one who repents from a sin is like one who has no sin." Please refer to Fatwa no. 91277.
