Is it permissible to dye hair black to eliminate the redness resulting from the use of a moisturizing cream, and not to cover gray hair?

Scholars have agreed on the dispraise of dyeing hair black, but they differed on its ruling between disliking it (karaha) and prohibiting it (tahreem). The correct view is that it is forbidden for both men and women. However, some scholars permitted it for a woman for her husband.
