Is it permissible for a female student whose husband has passed away to complete her studies during her iddah (waiting period)?

A widow must observe her 'iddah (waiting period) and mourning in her home for four months and ten days, and she must not spend the night anywhere else. She must avoid all things that beautify her, such as perfume, kohl, decorative clothing, and body adornment. However, she is permitted to go out during the day for a necessity. Accordingly, a female student is allowed to go to school to attend lessons, provided she adheres to avoiding what a woman in 'iddah must avoid.
