What is the explanation of the hadith narrated in Sahih Muslim, Hadith No. 3302, in the chapter on Al-Fay' from the Book of Jihad and Siyar, what is its meaning, and how does one respond to those who use it to diminish the status of Abu Bakr and Umar, may Allah be pleased with them?

Umar ibn al-Khattab summarized the dispute between Al-Abbas and Ali, explaining that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "We do not inherit; what we leave behind is charity." And that Abu Bakr and Umar acted upon this hadith, and that their statement: "a liar, sinful, treacherous, a betrayer" means that you (Ali and Al-Abbas) believe that what was obligatory was contrary to what Abu Bakr and Umar did, and it was not a direct accusation against them. This expression is not to be considered an argument for people of desires, because Ali, Al-Abbas, and all the Companions agreed on their high regard for Abu Bakr and Umar. It has been transmitted recurrently from Ali that he said: "The best of this Ummah after its Prophet are Abu Bakr and Umar."
