Who is the Companion Salman al-Farisi? And what is his relationship to the Druze?

The Druze are a wicked esoteric sect, independent of Islam. Salman al-Farisi was a venerable Companion, a devout ascetic, and among the wisest and most noble of men. He held great prestige and high status. Salman al-Farisi has no connection to the Druze, and he is innocent of them and their false beliefs, such as the doctrine of transmigration of souls and the theory of cycles, through which they believe that Salman al-Farisi appeared in the role of Prophet Muhammad, and that it was he who dictated the Quran to him.
