Is it permissible to apply ceramic dental veneers for cosmetic purposes?

Beautification is of two types: permissible, for removing a temporary or congenital defect, and the proof of its permissibility is the Prophet's -peace and blessings be upon him- permission to the man whose nose was cut off to take a nose of gold. And forbidden, which is that which is for increasing beauty and not for removing a defect, and the proof of its prohibition is the Prophet's -peace and blessings be upon him- saying: "Allah has cursed the women who tattoo and those who have themselves tattooed, and the women who pluck their eyebrows and those who widen the gaps between their teeth for beauty, altering Allah's creation." Accordingly, applying ceramic or other materials to teeth is not permissible, as it alters Allah's creation for the sake of beauty.
