Jannah (Paradise) is the abode of honor that Allah has prepared for His servants. It contains types of blessings too numerous to mention. Rivers flow beneath it, and its food and shade are everlasting. In it are rivers of water, milk, wine, and honey, and all kinds of fruits. Its construction is a brick of gold and a brick of silver, its mortar is fragrant musk, and its pebbles are pearls and rubies. Whoever enters it will enjoy eternal bliss; they will not die, their clothes will not wear out, and their youth will not fade. In it are chambers whose exterior can be seen from their interior, and a tent made from a hollowed pearl. The lowest in rank among the people of Jannah will have a kingdom equivalent to ten times that of the kings of the world, and the highest are those whose honor Allah planted with His own Hand. There is a market they visit every Friday, and they increase in beauty and handsomeness. Its inhabitants will be called upon, saying: "Be healthy and never fall ill, live and never die, be young and never age, and be blissful and never suffer misery." The first group to enter it will be like the moon on a full night, and those who follow them will be like the brightest star in the sky. They will not urinate, defecate, spit, or blow their noses. Their combs will be of gold, and their perspiration will be musk. Their spouses will be the wide-eyed houris. The people of Jannah do not sleep, because sleep is the brother of death, and they do not die.
