Are the angels blessed, and why will they say on the Day of Resurrection: "We have not worshipped Allah as He should be worshipped"?

Angels are honored servants, created from light. They do not eat or drink. They worship Allah the Almighty with various acts of worship, as He, glory be to Him, said: {They do not disdain to worship Him, nor do they tire. They glorify [Him] night and day without slackening}. And Allah has bestowed upon them the blessing of believing in Him. Their saying, "Glory be to You, we have not worshipped You with the worship due to You," is a disparagement of their worship and deeds in relation to Allah the Almighty; for no one can worship Allah with the worship due to Him, or know Him with the knowledge due to Him, or fear Him with the fear due to Him, or glorify Him with the glorification due to Him. So no matter how much one worships Allah, one will not fulfill even the slightest part of His right, glory be to Him.
