What is the ruling on a woman uncovering her palms in front of non-mahram men in the Maliki school of thought?

According to the Malikis, the hands are not 'awrah (private parts that must be covered), so it is permissible to uncover them in front of non-mahram men, provided there is no fear of temptation (fitnah). The entire body of a free woman is 'awrah except for the face and the hands, both their palms and backs. It is permissible to look at them without lust or fear of temptation, and without an excuse. However, if there is a fear of temptation from the woman, she must cover her face and hands.
