Reading the Surahs of the Musabbihat (Al-Isra, Al-Hadid, Al-Hashr, As-Saff, Al-Jumu'ah, At-Taghabun, Al-A'la) before sleep is a confirmed of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. It is reported that he said: "Verily, there is an verse within them that is better than a thousand verses." It appears that this reading encompasses all the Musabbihat surahs every night, so as not to miss the intended verse, which is said to be "Had We sent down this Qur'an" or the third verse of Surat Al-Hadid.
