Is praising God for something that has not yet occurred considered a lie against God and an act of disbelief in Him?

It is legislated for the believer to praise Allah in times of ease and hardship, as the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to do. When he saw what he liked, he would say: "All praise is due to Allah, by whose grace good deeds are perfected." And when he saw what he disliked, he would say: "All praise is due to Allah in every circumstance."

This does not imply the permissibility of lying; for example, saying: "All praise is due to Allah for success" while having failed. This is clear lying, unless another meaning is intended.

This act, whether excusable or not, is not considered disbelief but rather a sin if it is a lie. He must repent from the lie, not from the praise, while adhering to praising Allah in every circumstance.
