Is photography forbidden?

Photographic imaging that is not necessitated by dire need or necessity is a matter of scholarly disagreement among the people of knowledge. According to the opinion that permits it, it is conditioned upon exercising caution against photographing what is impermissible in Islamic law. It is preferable to avoid this field to steer clear of disagreement and out of precaution for one's religion. For whoever guards against doubtful matters has indeed cleared himself in his religion and honor.
