Another group has permitted it if the copying is for personal use, especially for students who cannot obtain original copies. The more cautious approach for a Muslim is not to buy, use, or copy pirated discs, in order to avoid disagreement. As for a false oath, it is one of the greatest sins, and repentance from it is obligatory.
