Is it permissible to work in a bookstore that sells books and novels conflicting with Islamic principles, despite the fatwas of some scholars permitting their sale?

It is forbidden to sell books that contain innovations (bid'ah), misguidance, and immorality, due to the general meaning of Allah's saying: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression" (Quran 5:2). If it is possible to refrain from selling such books and to limit sales to permissible books, then there is no harm in remaining in the job. However, it is preferable to leave it and search for another job. If it is not possible to refrain from selling them, then one must leave the job, unless there is a compelling necessity. In such a case, it is permissible to remain until another job is found that removes the necessity.
