It is not permissible to cooperate in matters forbidden by Islamic law, as Allah Almighty says: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." Therefore, it is not permissible to work in the aforementioned publishing house unless the work is restricted to books free from Islamic legal prohibitions, though it is better to avoid this work altogether. It is not permissible to read novels that incite instincts and desires. A Muslim must read what benefits him in his religion and his worldly life.
