The original state of the earth is purity, and placing the bag on it does not harm, even if dogs or other animals pass over it. This is based on the saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "The earth has been made for me a place of prostration and a means of purification. So, whichever man of my Ummah is overtaken by the time of prayer, let him pray."

Also, what Malik narrated in Al-Muwatta is that Umar ibn Al-Khattab said to the owner of the basin, "Do not inform us, for we go to wild beasts, and they come to us." So, if the coming of wild beasts to the basin and their drinking from it does not defile it, then it is even more fitting that their passing over a dry bag does not defile it.

Therefore, these rulings must be explained to the sister, and a proactive approach should be taken to treat her before the whispers of Waswas (obsessive doubts) become deeply entrenched in her.
