How should one deal, according to Sharia, with neighbors of bad character who are harsh and sow discord, given that they are also relatives and neighbors, and knowing that they are orphans and were previously wronged by their deceased brother?

It is recommended to be patient with neighbors while being cautious of their evil and avoiding interaction with them that brings harm, and to meet their ill-treatment with kindness. However, if associating with them results in harm to one's religious or worldly affairs, there is no sin in shunning them, for perhaps a graceful avoidance is better than harmful interaction.
