What is the ruling regarding the prohibited acts committed by the young man with a girl he wished to propose to, and what are the resulting rulings and punishments for that? Is he obligated to marry her, and what should he do to repent to Allah?

The mercy of Allah is expansive and His forgiveness is immense. Therefore, the young man must offer sincere repentance by abandoning the sin, regretting it, and resolving not to return to it, and he must have a good opinion of his Lord.

He must sever his relationship with this girl and avoid everything that could lead to falling into sin again, and be diligent in adhering to acts of obedience.

The girl brought this upon herself through her laxity and compliance in forbidden acts. Therefore, she has no right over him, and her words should not be heeded. If she deviates in the future, there is no sin upon him.

Marrying her is not religiously obligatory. However, if she repents and her condition becomes upright, and he desires to marry her, then let him do so, for it is better for those who love each other. These reprehensible practices do not have a specific prescribed punishment in Islamic law other than ta'zir (discretionary punishment) imposed by the Muslim ruler. Each of them should conceal their own actions.
