What is the ruling on inciting a person to commit sins and persisting in doing so until one strays with them? What is the ruling on a girl becoming attached to you when you know you will not marry her? Is she considered wronged if someone deludes her into believing he will marry her, and then it becomes clear he has no such intention? And is breaking off the relationship with him considered severing ties of kinship?

Inciting disobedience and making it appealing is forbidden (haram (definition)), and the one who does it is sinful, bearing their own sin and the sin of those they misguided. This includes those who deceive girls and lead them into disobedience. However, this does not absolve you of responsibility, for you have wronged yourself and fallen into what is forbidden by your own choice. Blame no one but yourself, and do not preoccupy yourself with what the young man did. Instead, focus on repenting to Allah Almighty by abandoning the sin, regretting it, and resolving not to return to it, while concealing your own faults and cutting off your relationship with this young man.
