Can a person move and do things while asleep without feeling it?

A sleeping person may perform actions unwittingly, but he is responsible for any damage he causes to life or property. Thus, if he destroys a life, the blood money (diyya) becomes obligatory, and his 'aqila (male relatives on the father's side) bear it. If he damages property, he guarantees it from his own private wealth.
