Purity is a condition for the validity of the (circumambulation) according to the majority of scholars. Therefore, whoever performs tawaf while in a state of (major ritual impurity) or (minor ritual impurity), their tawaf is invalid, and they remain in their state of (sacred pilgrim garb). However, if one doubts whether they are in a state of janabah and are not certain, then (ritual bath) is not obligatory upon them, because the default state is purity. Thus, their tawaf is valid as long as they are not certain of having a wet dream by seeing semen.
