How does Allah forgive one who mocked Him, His prophets, and the Qur’an, transform his evil deeds into good deeds, and allow him to live among Muslims after repentance? And does repentance transform the disbeliever who mocked Allah into a righteous man who can marry according to Allah's law? And what is the wisdom behind accepting the repentance of such individuals despite all this audacity against the Creator?

Mocking Allah, His Book, or His Prophets is an act of apostasy that expels one from the faith. However, if one repents sincerely with its conditions, their repentance is accepted and erases what came before it. Such a person may be married and lives like other Muslims, as happened with some Companions. An exception to this is obsessive thoughts and psychological whispers, for which a servant is not held accountable. Part of the wisdom behind accepting the repentance of one who mocked is to demonstrate the effects of Allah’s names and attributes, such as the All-Forgiving, the Most Merciful, and the Pardoner, so that people may cling to His mercy and not despair of it.
