Is the penitent's statement, "I want to disbelieve and submit," – while in a state of anger and remorse over his great sins – considered disbelief, and how does he repent?

Mocking Allah the Almighty is an act of disbelief that expels one from the fold of Islam. And whoever repents from it, Allah will accept his repentance. Allah the Almighty says: "And if you ask them, they will surely say, 'We were only indulging in idle talk and play.' Say, 'Is it in Allah and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking?' Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after your belief. If We pardon a party of you, We will punish another party because they were criminals." Islam demolishes what came before it, and repentance wipes away what preceded it, no matter how great the sin. And Allah the Almighty forgives all sins for whoever repents. Allah the Almighty says: "Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'" It is obligatory for the mocker to repent for all that has passed and to embark on a path of rectitude in obedience to Allah the Almighty, for sincere repentance transforms evil deeds into good ones.
