Is it considered unlawful (haram) or lawful (halal) for a female employee to print and photocopy personal documents for her superiors in a government department, using the department's equipment and during official working hours, and is her monthly donation of a portion of her salary to the poor, in order to erase the sin resulting from such action, considered a correct course of action?

It is impermissible for an employee to use company machines and resources for personal purposes except with the permission of the responsible authority. It is also impermissible for anyone else to assist them in doing so. Whoever commits such an act must repent and seek forgiveness. Paying for what was used unlawfully is a good deed, but it does not permit continuation, and this phenomenon must be confronted.
