The question

Is my prayer still not accepted to this day? And what should I do about my last ghusl from menstruation two weeks ago, as I don't remember if I washed my face and ears? And should I repeat the ghusl with the intention of both janabah and menstruation, or only menstruation, knowing that I intended to remove the impurity without specifying, then I retracted?

The answer

To overcome whisperings (waswas), one must ignore them and not pay attention to them. If doubt arises about washing the face after finishing the ghusl (ritual bath), one should not pay attention to it, because doubt after completing an act of worship has no effect. It is not obligatory to wash the face specifically before or after washing the rest of the body; rather, what is obligatory is that water covers it along with the other limbs. Ghusl with a single intention for both Janabah (ritual impurity requiring a full bath) and menstruation is sufficient, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Actions are but by intentions." And ghusl with the intention for one of them is sufficient for the other, according to many scholars.
