Which are the easiest books, from among the commentaries of Sheikh Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Mukhtar al-Shinqiti, from which a beginner seeker of knowledge can benefit, along with a brief overview of each, and is it better to start with them while memorizing the Qur’an and its simplified interpretation, or to first complete the memorization of the Qur’an and its interpretation?

The books "Umdat al-Ahkam" and "Umdat al-Fiqh" are beneficial and suitable for beginners in seeking knowledge, and it is recommended to start with them. Meanwhile, "Al-Muwatta'" and "Sunan al-Tirmidhi" are large books that a beginner should not start with.

A student of knowledge should begin by learning the interpretation of the Noble Quran, due to its immense importance. Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "The most important thing in seeking knowledge is for a person to learn the interpretation of Allah Almighty's words, because Allah's words are all knowledge. Allah the Almighty said: ﴿And We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for all things﴾ [An-Nahl:89]."

Therefore, it is recommended to combine completing the memorization of the Quran with studying a concise interpretation of it, and reading fiqh. Otherwise, one should complete the memorization of the Quran first, then read a concise book of tafsir with one of the shaykhs, and then dedicate oneself to studying fiqh and its hadiths.
