Does a man who dies with his wife pleased with him enter Paradise, just as a woman who dies with her husband pleased with her enters Paradise?

Indeed, the hadith, "Any woman who dies while her husband is pleased with her will enter Paradise," is weak. However, its meaning has been conveyed in authentic hadiths that emphasize the importance of a wife's obedience to her husband and his good conduct towards her. A wife's contentment with her husband is a sign of his good character and kind treatment, and this is among the reasons for entering Paradise. Nevertheless, these hadiths and others are conditional upon one who dies adhering to monotheism and has not persisted in a major sin. Whoever dies as a monotheist will certainly enter Paradise, but if they had committed a major sin and died without repenting, then their fate is subject to Allah's will. If He wills, He may forgive them and admit them to Paradise immediately, and if He wills, He may punish them first and then admit them to Paradise. No one who dies adhering to monotheism will remain eternally in Hellfire.
