Is it considered one divorce or three divorces if a man says "You are divorced by three" in one utterance and in a state of anger?

Whoever divorces his wife three times with a single utterance has disobeyed and sinned. This is called an innovative divorce (talaq bid'i) because it contravenes the Sunnah. Scholars differed regarding the occurrence of a triple divorce with a single utterance: the majority held that all three divorces occur, while others maintained that it counts as a single divorce. As for the divorce of a menstruating woman, the majority of scholars held that it occurs, while Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah held that it does not occur. The spouses are advised to understand and deliberate before divorce, and not to rush into it, especially in cases of extreme anger that clouds consciousness.
