Is it permissible for the sole agent of a company to sell its products at prices higher than their declared prices and keep the difference for himself?

The permissibility of your father's dealings is determined by three scenarios: The first: If your father buys the goods for himself and then sells them. This is permissible, and all his profits belong to him. However, it is not permissible for him to misrepresent the price if the buyer will rely on the purchase price to determine the profit margin. The second: If your father is merely an agent for the company. In this case, it is not permissible for him to sell at a price other than that set by the company, nor is he entitled to take an extra profit for himself, as this constitutes betrayal and deception, in accordance with the Prophet's saying, "He who cheats us is not of us." The third: If he is an agent for the company, but it has agreed with him that any increase above the determined price is for him. This scenario is a point of contention among scholars, and the most probable view is its permissibility, as held by Ibn Qudamah, Ibn Abbas, and Imam Ahmad.
