Is it permissible to commit suicide because parents refuse to marry their daughter to a poor young man, despite his religiosity and good character, and because of her suffering from their pressure and materialistic thinking?

Suicide is one of the gravest sins, and a believer does not despair of Allah's mercy. A servant must put their trust in Allah and beware of the whisperings of Satan. Relationships between young men and women under the guise of love and marriage are a door to evil and corruption. If there is a heartfelt attachment and marriage is not feasible, they must turn away from it and strive for chastity. If a suitable man proposes to a woman and she accepts him, her guardian has no right to prevent her without a valid reason.
