Are the 'Umrahs in which I was far from the Ka'bah invalid, and is a sacrifice (dam) incumbent upon me for committing prohibitions after I thought the 'Umrah rituals were complete?
1. If the circumambulation () was performed inside the Sacred Mosque (Masjid al-) with the Kaaba on the left, while maintaining a distance from the Kaaba to avoid worshipers, then the Tawaf is valid.
2. If the circumambulation was performed with one's back or face turned towards the Kaaba, it is invalid according to the majority of scholars, and it must be repeated. However, the Hanafis consider the Tawaf valid, though with a prohibitive dislike (Karahah Tahrimiyah) and the obligation of offering a sacrifice (Hady).
3. According to the majority of scholars, one must cease engaging in the prohibitions of and return to Mecca to perform a valid Tawaf and Sa'i.
4. If it is impossible to return to Mecca, then the one who is prevented (muhsar) may exit Ihram by slaughtering a sacrifice or by fasting ten days.
5. A subsequent valid suffices for an invalid Umrah.
