Both groups are on good, and the original principle is that concealing charity is better than publicizing it, unless publicizing it is better for achieving a benefit, such as encouraging people to donate or collecting donations if the intended purpose cannot be achieved otherwise. This does not preclude rectifying intentions and striving to attain sincerity.
