Are there two eyes for Allah in His face—Glory be to Him—or is there no text mentioning that?

The fundamental principle regarding the attributes of Allah is that He is described by what He has described Himself with in His Book (the Qur'an), or what His Messenger (peace be upon him) has described Him with, in a manner befitting Him, without distortion (taḥrīf), negation (taʿṭīl), anthropomorphism (takyīf), or resemblance (tamthīl). For "There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing." (Qur'an 42:11). The mention of the "eye" (عَيْن) has appeared in the Qur'an in both the singular and plural forms. In the Sunnah, it has appeared in the dual form, such as the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, your Lord is not one-eyed." However, there is no textual evidence specifying the location of the two eyes on the face.
