How can the saying of Allah Almighty: "And that you be fashioned under My eye" be reconciled with His saying: "And construct the ship under Our eyes"?

Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah (Sunnis) believe that Allah has two eyes with which He sees, and these are among His essential attributes, basing their argument on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, Allah is not one-eyed." The attribute of "eye" is mentioned in the Quran in both the singular and plural forms, but this does not mean that Allah has one eye or multiple eyes. Rather, it is a rhetorical device, and the Sunnah clarifies it by affirming two eyes for Allah, befitting His majesty.
