How is the inheritance of a deceased mother to be distributed among a husband, a mother, three sons, and six daughters?

If the heirs of the mother are limited to those mentioned, then her estate is divided as follows: the husband receives one-fourth due to the existence of a lineal descendant, and the mother receives one-sixth due to the existence of a lineal descendant. What remains after the shares of the husband and mother is divided among the sons and daughters by ta'sib (residuary inheritance), with the male receiving the share of two females. It must be noted that matters of inheritance are serious and complex, and a mere fatwa is insufficient. Rather, it must be referred to the Sharia courts for investigation and to ascertain the existence of any other heirs, wills, debts, or rights that take precedence over the rights of the heirs.
