Jealousy over one's wife is a praiseworthy and religiously مطلوب امر (commanded) matter, such as your eagerness that no one should gaze upon her, and your denunciation of her intentionally looking at strangers (non- men). However, exaggerating in jealousy and having ill suspicion of her without any cause for doubt is blameworthy. Praiseworthy jealousy occurs in situations of doubt and suspicion, while blameworthy jealousy occurs without such. Know that excessive denunciation of one's wife can lead to falsely accusing her. Therefore, maintain moderation in jealousy, and protect your wife without ill suspicion or excessive restriction.
