Being kind to daughters is a means of entering Paradise and being saved from Hellfire. It is reported in the Hadith: "Whoever is afflicted with any of these daughters and treats them well, they will be a shield for him from the Fire." Also, whoever raises two girls until they reach maturity will come on the Day of Resurrection with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Various narrations have been reported that illustrate forms of kindness, such as being patient with them, spending on them, feeding them, giving them to drink, clothing them, educating them well, sheltering them, showing them mercy, sponsoring them, being a good companion to them, and fearing Allah concerning them.
