It was previously explained who has the right to determine the dowry. The matter here is simple: the father and the daughter have no objection to the maternal grandfather determining the dowry. To avoid awkwardness, the paternal grandfather can be involved in the matter, and the agreed-upon dowry can be delivered to the wife. This ensures the benefit of the daughter receiving her dowry and the father not encroaching upon it, as well as the benefit of avoiding awkwardness by not acting alone. It must be noted that the wife's trousseau is not obligatory upon her or her guardian, but rather it is obligatory upon the husband. Whatever is done by the guardians or the wife in terms of preparing the trousseau is a donation from them.
