What is the ruling on officials in the House of Allah who place obstacles in the path of inviting to the Islamic religion?

Hindrance from the path of Allah is an evil act that necessitates worldly and

other-worldly punishments. Whoever causes the prevention of good or the

spread of evil bears the burden of that on the Day of Resurrection. The

existence of obstacles in the path of calling to Allah requires redoubling

effort, patience, insight, and wisdom.
