Is it obligatory to make up or give charity for one who stopped praying, thinking she was in a state of postpartum bleeding (nifas) or menstruation, and then it became clear that it was due to a weakness in the uterine lining?

All blood seen after childbirth within the subsequent forty days is considered lochia (nifas (definition)), and one must perform ghusl (definition) (ritual bath) upon seeing purity. If the bleeding returns before the forty days are over, the woman is still considered to be in nifas. However, any bleeding seen after the forty days is not considered nifas unless it coincides with her regular menstrual period. If she missed prayers during a period when prayer was obligatory, she must make up those prayers according to the majority of scholars.
