Does the change in color of water, over which the Quran was recited, to gray, along with a feeling of comfort and some other phenomena, indicate the existence of a problem that requires treatment?

The treatment for magic (sihr) and possession (mass) is achieved by relying on Allah, diligently observing the prescribed remembrances (adhkar) and ruqyah (incantations), and supplicating with a good opinion of Allah. The ruqyah that involves repeating Surat Al-Buruj a specific number of times and blowing into water, or mentioning Allah Almighty a specific number of times, is not from the Sunnah. However, there is no harm in it as long as it does not contain polytheism (shirk), for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Present your ruqyahs to me; there is no harm in ruqyahs as long as they do not contain shirk." Scholars have unanimously agreed on the permissibility of ruqyah with Allah's verses and remembrances. There is also no harm in consulting trustworthy reciters (ruqat) who adhere to the regulations of Islamic law, along with the importance of renewing repentance, striving for uprightness, and drawing closer to Allah.
