What is the ruling on giving a sum of money to customs in exchange for smuggling goods, and what is the ruling on trading with smugglers?

We previously mentioned that there is no harm in paying customs fees. However, we add here that smuggling goods involves uncertainty (gharar) and often causes harm to an individual, making smuggling a gamble that exposes one's wealth to risk. Therefore, it is not permissible to engage in it or participate in it.
