What is the ruling on money earned from helping someone who pays a bribe to customs to pass goods, knowing that we are limited to shipping the goods and inspecting them before transit?

It is not permissible to work in smuggling goods, nor is the money earned from it permissible, unless a Muslim is forced to do so to the extent that he would perish or be close to perishing, or suffer significant harm that cannot be averted except by consuming what is unlawful.
