Who is Joshua, son of Nun, mentioned in Surat Al-Kahf as the youth who accompanied Moses (peace be upon him)? What was his life like, and was he a prophet?

Yusha' ibn Nun is the young man of Musa (Moses) mentioned in the Qur'an without being named, and his identification was stated in Sahih al-Bukhari. The People of the Book agreed upon his prophethood. Allah granted him the conquest of Jerusalem, and Allah honored him with the miracle of stopping the sun for him. He ruled among the Children of Israel according to the Torah after Musa for twenty-seven years, and he died at the age of one hundred and twenty-seven years.
