What is the authenticity of the hadith: "In the name of Allah, what Allah wills, none brings good except Allah. What Allah wills, none averts evil except Allah. What Allah wills, any blessing is from Allah. What Allah wills, there is no might and no power except with Allah," which is said to protect from drowning, burning, and other calamities if recited three times in the morning?

The words mentioned are found in an account narrated concerning the meeting of Al-Khidr and Elias (peace be upon them), where it is mentioned that they utter these words upon parting: "In the name of Allah, what Allah wills; none drives good except Allah. What Allah wills; none averts evil except Allah. What Allah wills; whatever blessing there is, it is from Allah. What Allah wills; there is no might or power except with Allah." It is claimed that whoever recites these words three times in the morning and evening will be safe from drowning, burning, theft, devils, rulers, snakes, and scorpions.

However, the chain of narration of this hadith (definition) has been criticized and weakened by scholars, including Al-Uqayli, Al-Daraqutni, Ibn Hajar, and Ibn Kathir. They considered it flimsy and denounced, stating that the Marfu' (attributed to the Prophet) narrations within it are very weak, and the anecdotes are not free from weakness.
