Is it permissible to trade in fuels (such as gasoline and diesel) that are prohibited by the state, especially if it is with a forged license and leads to imprisonment and fines on charges of fraud and smuggling, and is it permissible to direct its proceeds towards the interests of Muslims, such as building mosques and giving zakat?

It is permissible for a person to trade in his private possessions of gasoline and diesel, as long as it does not expose him or the public to danger or harm, for Allah Almighty says: "And Allah has permitted trade."

As for state property, it is not permissible to sell or buy it except with the state's permission. Forging licenses does not make the unlawful lawful, and the sin increases if it results in harm.

Similarly, it is not permissible to justify ill-gotten gains by claiming to build mosques or public facilities; for Allah is good and accepts only that which is good.
