Your grandfather is not permitted to marry your wife after your death or divorce. This is because a son's wife is permanently forbidden, as stipulated in the Holy Qur’an in Surat An-Nisa, verse 23: "and the wives of your sons who are from your own loins." You are considered a son to your grandfather, for a son's son is a son, and the noble verse excludes adopted sons from this prohibition.
